For a space that was designed around the perspective of transience & imperfection, Aikkya, in our opinion, is nothing short of wholesome flawlessness. A magical blend of natural simplicity, an honest-to-goodness approach towards life & hospitality, and an ultra keen eye for detail make this experiential farm feel like a loving home, even before you’ve arrived!
Designed, built, and operated as a constantly evolving canvas, every square inch of this 7.5 acre farmstay has been mindfully & artfully hand-crafted by a pair of creative geniuses. Shivani & Avijeet (and 4 ultra cuddly dogs) left behind their hectic corporate careers in 2021 to restore and re-imagine a collection of forgotten, broken and ignored mud & stone homes in a quiet corner of Seetla. Over 2 years, they added life & colour to the cracked walls, smoothened the uneven trails, planted fruit trees and flowering plants and ended up creating a giant piece of art that we’re now proud to have as a part of our collection.
Rooms, spaces & tariffs
Aikkya offers its guests 4 independent & private thematic rooms, a community café, & a shared sun-room that doubles up as a workshop/lounge/workspace.
Kintsugi is a lovingly restored heritage Kumaoni stone home that comes with a spacious bedroom and a cosy cellar. On the whole, it can easily accommodate up to 4 guests. Kintsugi offers our guests direct access to the shared sun-room and 2 sit-outs.
Tariff: 9,500 per night for 2 adults. This rate includes breakfast. Additional guests at INR 1,000 per person per night extra. Additional set meals at INR 450 per person per meal. There is also an a la carte menu to choose from.
A-Frame of Mind is a compact, self-contained A-frame home with a loft bed on one level and a living space on the ground level. This room has exceptional views of the sunset and best suited for those who share our obsessive passion for star-gazing. This room comes with a private, fenced sit-out under a canopy of fruit trees, perfect for those traveling with their 4-legged companions.
Tariff: 8,500 per night for 2 adults. This rate includes breakfast. Additional guest at INR 1,000 per person per night extra. Additional set meals at INR 450 per person per meal. There is also an a la carte menu to choose from.
Wabi+Sabi Suite is another restored hertiage Kumaoni stone structure. A large unit spread over 2 floors, Wabi & Sabi are 2 adjoining private bedrooms that may be booked individually for 2 each or collectively for a larger group of 4-5. Both rooms share a common sun-deck, however, privacy is not compromised even if you book just one room.

Amenities: All rooms come with comfortable double beds, attached bathrooms in each room with hot water (no bathtub), space heaters, electric blankets and fresh towels.

Every aspect and each corner at Aikkya has a story to tell. From the stunning architecture, fascinating artwork, subtle interiors to the activity-laden community café, you could spend an entire lifetime engrossed in the mindful detail of each aspect. The fun seeps over to the outdoors as well, guests have the chance to partake in seasonal fruit-plucking, wine & jam making sessions as well.
Shivani & Avijeet’s creative ingenuinity extends to the food & beverage experience, too. Above & beyond the lip-smacking mini-buffet of local delicacies that the kitchen team prepares, Avijeet loves to experiment in the kitchen and behind the bar. Just like us, you may find your jaw on the floor if you observe him at work fixing a peppy cocktail whilst preparing a freshly procured Trout for the grill, all with a serene smile and an effortless sense of ease.
