Mindfully curated over 2 years, कrishma Yoga Vacation Home at Sitla was designed for rest, reconnection, and rejuvenation. With the mystical and mighty Trishul, Nanda Devi and Panchachuli peaks watching over it on one side and the protected forests of IVRI cradling it on the other, Mini Shastri’s home in the hills is truly a miracle that cannot be captured in words.
The mesmerizing energy of a pristine forest, the imposing presence of Kumaon’s gentle giants on the horizon, and Mini’s meticulous attention to detail come together to create the perfect retreat to take pause, slow down, and rejuvenate.
The space
3 well-appointed, spacious bedrooms, two cozy living rooms with an eclectic selection of curios and art pieces, an open-plan kitchen, flowery lawns and a tree-canopied platform for writing, reflection, meditation and soaking in the sounds and smells of nature. All the ingredients you need for a languid break from hectic city life. Guests are given the option to reserve the entire cottage as a group or individual rooms for solo retreats.
Amenities
All rooms come with large king-sized beds, ensuite or detached bathrooms, access to the kitchen, resident help, running hot water (no bathtub), space heaters and fresh towels.
Food and beverage
The kitchen at कrishma is managed by Sunil, a creative and enterprising young cook from Almora. In his short but exciting career, with a little help from Mini, he’s learnt how to put together simple and sumptuous Kumaoni, north Indian, Thai and Italian meals. For his latest adventure, he’s got his heart set on mastering home-made pizzas & papdi chaats!

Sitla is located 12 kms from the picturesque, jewel in the Kumaoni crown town of Mukteshwar. The cottage is easily accessible by road from all major cities.
